The Podcast

With Kirsten McKinnon

The See It Be It podcast is a space for courageous clarity and embodied experimentation - where you don’t just imagine a different life; you practice creating it while becoming more yourself.

Episode 4: The Story I Didn't Check & Why It Cost Me 3 Days

In this episode of See It Be It, Kirsten explores the "blind spot" of self-awareness: the moment where internal reflection crosses the line into self-abandonment. This episode breaks down how easy it is to mistake an unchecked narrative for an objective truth. It highlights the slippery slope from grounded clarity into overthinking and the danger of seeking external validation when you aren't centered.

Episode 3: What Happens When You Stop Ignoring What You Feel?

Ever find yourself saying "yes" while your gut screams "no"? If you're tired of overriding your instincts and feeling disconnected, this episode is for you. We’re pulling back the curtain on a real coaching conversation to witness the exact moment someone stops running from their experience and starts staying with it.

Let’s dive in.

Episode 2: Staying with Yourself

Today, we explore the "gleeful terror" of love and the fine line between compromise and self-abandonment. By identifying the "boxing guard" sensations our bodies use for protection, Kirsten McKinnon shares how to navigate the fear of rejection with practical tools to stay with yourself - even when your heart is wide open.

Episode 1: Breaking the Seal

Today, we dive into the terrifying reality of the fear of being seen, exploring how we abandon our true selves - through "brave faces" and intellectualising - just to avoid the sting of rejection. By trading armour and bravado for imperfect honesty, this episode challenges you to stop hiding and start building the genuine connections that only happen when you're truly seen.

Stop Abandoning Yourself

A Live Workshop on Self-Leadership

So many of us look “fine” on the outside while quietly abandoning ourselves in love and at work. We smooth things over, swallow our truth, or push through… and then wonder why we feel lonely, resentful, or exhausted.

This 90‑minute live workshop is a gentle space to notice the subtle ways you leave yourself and to practice staying with yourself instead.

Meet Kirsten McKinnon

I know the terrain of reinvention personally. I’ve rebuilt my own identity through divorce, career shifts, and the profound loss of a parent. These lived experiences allow me to meet you in the "fire" of your own transition—whether you are navigating a job loss, questioning your identity as you age, or simply feeling stuck between who you’ve been and who you sense you are becoming.

My clients describe me as laser-focused and bold, yet deeply compassionate. I provide a safe, experimental space where we make the unconscious conscious — transforming inherited stories and hidden fears into strength and self-trust. Together, we don’t “fix" what’s broken; we reclaim and practice who you truly are.
